This special service to begin the Lenten season includes a time of repentance, symbolized with the sign of the Cross in ashes on our foreheads, and Holy Communion.
Good Friday
1 p.m. Good Friday (date varies each year)
This is a community-wide service we share with the other churches in the Decatur Ministerial Association. Hosted at a different church each year, the local pastors take part in leading the service. Check our calendar for the date and location for this year.
Christmas Eve
9 p.m. December 24 in the Sanctuary
Christmas music, the Christmas Story from God’s Holy Word, candle lighting and Holy Communion are always a part of this service.
